Royal Welsh Show

Royal Welsh Show - Ellie reigns Supreme. At the Royal Welsh Show judge William Baillie selected Iwan & Mair Davies Cysgod Elegant as his Breed Champion, in this her final show season.

She is by a ram bred by Percy Tait & out of a ewe from Peter Fraser's flock. In reserve place was the shearling ram from Sally Shone which will be entered for the Premier Sale in August at Carlisle. With the RWAS limiting exhibitors to three pens it meant that some exhibitors felt it was too long a distance to travel with only three sheep, rather than a full team so unfortunatley the senior * shearling rams were combined and the same applied to the females.
