Story from Shetland
17/06/2019

We have had this great story from Peter Fraser, one of our most northerly breeders. Last year we had an enquiry from a breeder in Shetland who had used the Bleu many years ago on his native and mule ewes. He decided to go back to the Bleu and subseqently bought two ram lambsfrom Peter.  Below is the text from Edwin Williamson - proving again the Bleu crossses can survive anywhere!! Some pictures are of this years lambs

Crossed various ewes with the ram lambs.   Had a easy lambing with plenty lambs.  What is amazing is how consistent the BDM lambs are regardless of the types of mothers it like the BDM has a strong gene.   It is going to be interesting to see these lambs fill out and grow.
Delighted so far and will keep you updated with progress and pics
